Choose a poster system by the way the print will be replaced, the surface where it is installed and the distance from which the message is read. A snap frame, hanging rail and lockable case solve different jobs. Standardising the right fixture can simplify later campaigns, but first confirm the actual print format, orientation and installation arrangement at each position.

Frequent changes make handling an important part of the buying decision. The person replacing a print should be able to identify the correct file and use the fixture as intended. A visually attractive frame that is difficult to access or requires the wrong print format can create recurring work for the store team.
Define the campaign routine
Record how often the print changes and who does the work. Identify whether the fixture can remain in place while the graphic is replaced, whether tools or access equipment are needed and where the spare prints will be kept. Note any opening restrictions or position where customers might interfere with the display.
Also describe the environment. An indoor reception wall, a shop window and an exposed entrance are separate specifications. A frame's appearance or profile width does not establish outdoor protection. Check the manufacturer's permitted use and avoid treating an anti-glare cover as proof of weather resistance.
Snap frames suit a defined poster position
The defining feature of a snap frame is the opening frame profile. In a suitable installed position, the print can be replaced while the frame remains mounted. This makes the workflow easy to explain: open the permitted sections, change the correctly sized print and cover, then close the frame according to its instructions.
Snap Frames 25 mm offers different finishes and poster sizes on one listing. Check the selected size and orientation rather than using a generic product photograph as a measurement. Confirm the cover, backing and mounting arrangement supplied. If stores already own frames, identify them before ordering new prints or trying to match a finish.
Hanging rails solve a different installation
Hanging a poster can be useful when a wall-mounted frame is not the intended solution. Poster Rails and Hangers lets you discuss the width, poster attachment and suspension arrangement. Record the permitted fixing point and the way the graphic hangs in the actual position.
Check whether the poster is viewed from one side or both. A suspended graphic near a window may have different visibility requirements from one placed against a wall. The hanging hardware must also be appropriate for the complete print. Do not assume that a rail supplies a cover, backing panel or every fitting shown in an installation photograph.
Lockable cases help control access to the print
Where the poster needs a protected display area with controlled opening, compare Lockable Poster Cases. Check the available format, opening method, installation position and permitted environment for the selected case. Identify who keeps the key and how the next campaign reaches the person responsible for changing the print.
A lock changes the access workflow; it is not a substitute for reviewing the complete specification. If several locations use lockable fixtures, keep the fixture references and key arrangements in the location records. Replacing a poster should not depend on discovering which case was installed after the campaign has arrived.
| System | Workflow to assess | Check before ordering |
|---|---|---|
| Snap frame | Repeated poster changes at a fixed position | Print format, cover, opening sections and fixing |
| Hanging rail | Suspended poster replacement | Print width, attachment, suspension and faces |
| Lockable case | Controlled access to the displayed information | Format, opening, key routine and environment |
Confirm the print format separately from the frame outline
Use the fixture's required finished print dimensions and orientation. The outside frame dimensions are useful for checking the wall or window position, but they are not automatically the dimensions of the printable graphic. Keep the print template and the hardware reference together.
For a shared campaign, agree the formats before preparing variants. If one store uses A sizes and another uses B sizes, resizing the same design may change line breaks and visual balance. Check the resulting artwork rather than relying on a print setting to scale it automatically. Leave room for any information that must remain visible near the frame edges.
Standardise a sample position before repeating it
Approve one representative specification and test the replacement routine with the team that will use it. Confirm that the frame can open in its installed location and that the displayed print is readable from the expected position. Photograph the final fixture and keep its product reference, orientation and approved artwork template.
When buying for several stores, record exceptions in the location matrix. An unusual wall width or fixing restriction should not disappear into the overall quantity. State whether the order is for new hardware, replacement prints or both. A supplier can then check the matching components rather than quoting a poster size without knowing the installed system.
Send the fixture positions, print formats, change frequency, existing references and quantities for a recommendation. Browse Poster Wall Frames for the current range, and use the printed POS rollout checklist to prepare an order spanning more than one location.
Products to compare
These are starting points for the specification discussed above. Select the actual model and variant, check the printed faces and required accessories, and confirm the complete supply scope before ordering.
