The GIOVI is an A2 menu board on a stand: a slim aluminium frame with LED illumination around the panel, on a weighted metal base. It solves the problem of a printed menu that nobody reads because the room is dim, the wall behind it is busy, or the sheet is lying flat on a lectern at the wrong angle.
This is an indoor stand. Hotel lobbies, restaurant entrances, retail floors and event spaces are the settings it is built for, and the minimalist frame is meant to disappear into an interior rather than shout across a car park. It is an A2 format, which is a reading-distance sign: someone stops in front of it and reads a menu, a price list or an announcement from a step or two away. It is not a wayfinding sign to be read across a hall. If the content has to work from twenty metres, this is the wrong format regardless of how bright the LED is.
The panel mounts in portrait or landscape, and the stand adjusts for height, so decide by the reader rather than by the graphic. Portrait at standing height is the default for a menu or a list — it suits columns of text and takes up little floor. Landscape suits a two-column layout, a daily specials board or images. Lower the stand for a seated waiting area, raise it where people walk past standing. The board also tilts vertically, and that tilt is the fix for glare: angle the face away from the ceiling downlights, not towards the window.
At 7,6 kg the stand is a one-person carry, but it is not something you reposition casually mid-service. Set it once, check the sightline from the door, and leave it. That weight is also what keeps it upright on a busy floor where bags and coats brush past. Change the printed insert rather than the position, and it will look deliberate rather than temporary.

Readability where the light is poor — a restaurant at night, a hotel lobby, a shop with dark walls. The illumination is in the frame, so the printed sheet stays a printed sheet.
Yes, which is what lets the same stand work at a doorway and beside a counter.
A2, and the stand weighs 7,6 kg — enough that it stays where it is put in a room with people moving past it.
