The ATRI easel holds a rigid board or a framed poster upright on the floor, then folds down to almost nothing. It is the display for people who arrive with the graphic already printed and no time to build anything.
It is made for graphics printed on rigid board — plexiglass, HIPS and similar sheet materials — and it takes a poster in a snap frame just as well. Rigid is the operative word. A loose paper poster bows off the support; mount it on board or in a frame first and the easel does the rest. The construction is powder-coated black metal throughout, so the frame holds a heavier panel than its own 0,9 kg suggests.
The foldable construction collapses to a very compact size and the easel comes with a carrying case. Two things follow. One person can carry several to an event in one hand, which matters when a stand needs a dozen of them. And the case is what keeps the finish intact — a powder-coated frame thrown loose into a van comes back chipped at the joints, and chipped black metal is exactly the detail visitors notice. Between events it stores flat on a shelf instead of taking floor space in a store room.
Exhibitions, events, offices, receptions and retail — anywhere a single panel has to stand for a few hours and then leave. The black finish is deliberately neutral, so the easel reads as equipment rather than furniture and the eye goes to the graphic. Where a display has to stay for months, fix the panel to a wall instead: an easel occupies floor area and can be knocked over, and it earns its place by being temporary.
