A wobbler is a strip that holds a small printed sign out from a shelf edge so that it moves in the aisle and catches the eye. It is the cheapest in-store medium there is, and the one that decides whether a promotion is seen at all.
Start with the length. A 75 mm strip keeps the sign close to the shelf, which suits narrow aisles and dense fixtures where a long strip would be knocked. A 150 mm strip carries the sign well clear of the shelf and moves more, which is what you want on a wide aisle or an end cap. Then pick the material. PET is the standard, cheap and springy. Recycled PET with removable adhesive is the one to take when the retailer charges you for residue left on their fixtures. Aluminium holds a bent shape, so it is the choice when you need the sign to point at the customer rather than straight out. Card is the fully recyclable option for a short seasonal run. The 30 mm spring model sits behind the sign and lets it bounce, which is the strongest movement of the lot in a small space.
Print the sign on 250 to 350 gsm card. Anything lighter folds under its own weight once the strip starts moving.

Standard high tack tape can leave a residue on painted shelf edges. If the retailer is strict about that, take the recycled PET model, which uses a removable adhesive.
Yes. Both surfaces hold well as long as they are clean and dry. Cold surfaces need a firm press for a few seconds for the adhesive to grab.
