A floor standing sign holder is what you put in a lobby, a corridor or a hotel foyer when the message changes every few days and nobody has time to fetch a ladder or a screwdriver.
The difference is reading distance. A4 is for close work, a reception desk, a lift lobby, a queue where people are already standing still. A3 is the one that still reads from across a room and is the safer choice for an event, a sale notice or anything a passer-by has to catch while walking. Both frames rotate, so the same stand takes a portrait notice this week and a landscape one next week without any parts being swapped. This is an indoor stand. If the sign is going outside a door, take a pavement A-board with a weighted or water filled base instead.
Print on 170 to 250 gsm. The snap frame holds the print against a backing panel, so a light sheet will ripple behind the cover film.
