Everything about a fabric roll up is the same as a normal one except the printed surface — and that one change fixes the three things people complain about with PVC film.
No glare. PVC film is semi-glossy and reflects spotlights straight back at the viewer, which is exactly what happens at a trade fair. Dye-sublimated textile is matte; the graphic stays readable under any lighting and photographs without hotspots.
No curl. Film remembers being rolled and the edges lift, especially in a warm room. Fabric goes back flat every time.
Washable and re-printable. The graphic can be machine washed at low temperature, folded into a pocket for transport, and replaced on the same frame when the campaign changes.
Fabric costs more per square metre than film, and a textile graphic is slightly softer in fine detail — 6 pt text and hairline rules are sharper on film. For a price list or a specification table, film. For a brand image, fabric.
85, 90, 120 and 150 cm. The 90 cm size exists because it matches common backdrop grids; if the stand sits beside other displays, check the grid before choosing 85.
Showrooms, permanent retail positions, fashion and food brands, and anywhere the stand appears in photographs. Also anywhere it is transported often: the graphic folds instead of rolling, so it takes the abuse that would crease film.
Same textile principle at wall scale: Fabric wall straight and Fabric wall curved. Same stand in film: Roll Up Banner Stands.
Scale: 1:1, minimum 150 dpi.
Colours: CMYK. Send Pantone references separately if an exact brand colour matters.
Fonts: converted to curves.
Files: TIFF, JPG or PDF.
Bleed: leave 40–60 mm extra at the bottom — that part rolls into the cassette and is never seen.
Other products in Roll Ups: Roll Up Banner Stands, X-Banner Stands, L-Banner Stands and Budget Roll Up Banner Stands. The whole category: Roll Ups. Or the whole Banners range.
Three things. No glare, because dye-sublimated textile is matte and film is semi-glossy — which matters under trade fair spotlights. No curl, because film remembers being rolled and fabric does not. And the graphic can be machine washed at low temperature and folded rather than rolled.
Fabric costs more per square metre, and fine detail is slightly softer than on film. For a price list or a specification table with small type, film is sharper. For a brand image, fabric wins.
