An A-board is a poster that stands on the pavement and gets read by people walking past at speed. This one is the heavy version: an A1 double-sided snap frame on an iron base, built to stay upright on a street rather than in a foyer.
Weight is the whole argument. The frame sits on wide-set legs and an iron base, and the board weighs 11 kg — enough that it stays where it is put on an exposed forecourt. The frame is mounted on flexible springs, so a gust pushes the board and lets it come back instead of flattening it. A lighter A-board on the same corner spends the day face down.
Both faces are 32 mm silver anodised aluminium snap frames. The profile snaps open on all four sides, the poster drops in, the profile snaps shut — no tools, no dismantling, and it can be done outdoors in under a minute. Matte protective covers go over the print. They keep rain and dirt off the paper and, more usefully, kill the glare that makes a glossy poster unreadable in direct sun. Print both faces: a pavement sign is read from both directions and a blank back is a wasted half.
Storefronts, service points, trade fairs and promotional events — anywhere the message changes weekly and the board goes out in the morning and comes in at night. It is free-standing, so it needs no fixing, no permission to drill and no power. It works indoors as well, though the iron base is more mass than a lobby needs. Treat it as a street product that can be used inside, rather than the other way round.
