The FLEX SORANO SEG A1 is a single-sided A-board with LED backlighting behind a tensioned fabric graphic. It fixes the problem every unlit pavement sign has from mid-afternoon onwards in winter: the message is still there, but nobody reads it. The lighting is spread evenly across the panel rather than pooled, so colours and fine detail hold up instead of washing out at the centre.
This is a one-face board, so it works on a direction of travel rather than a crossing point. Set it against a wall, a window or a shop return where footfall approaches from one side, and you lose nothing. Put it in the middle of a wide aisle or a two-way concourse and half your audience walks past the blank side. If you need to be read from both directions, you need two boards or a double-sided system, and it is cheaper to establish that before ordering than after.
The frame is hinged, so it opens in one movement with no tools and no loose parts to lose. The aluminium frame keeps the whole unit at 6,4 kg, and a durable polyester bag is included to carry the set. Those numbers matter more than they look. A board that one person can carry from a car and open in seconds gets put out every morning. A heavier board that needs two people and an assembly step gets left in the stockroom by week three, and an advertising sign that stays inside returns nothing.
The intended settings are shops, showrooms, trade fairs and similar staffed locations where a lit, professional-looking sign does real work. Treat it as an indoor and sheltered-entrance product: it is a portable illuminated display, not a weather-rated street fixture, and nothing about it is specified for permanent exposure. The A1 format is the standard poster size for close-range reading, which is what a pavement position gives you.
