SEG Keder Tape Rolls

SEG keder tape is the flexible edge strip sewn around a printed textile graphic before the graphic is fitted into a frame channel. These rolls supply the edging material for producing replacement graphics and preparing new fabric panels. This range is PVC keder, as identified in the technical sheets, rather than a claim that every edge strip sold as SEG is silicone.

Which width and roll length

Choose the edge strip to match the channel in your frame and the specification used by your sewing team. The available widths are 10, 12 and 14 mm; all six variants are 3 mm thick. A wider strip is not automatically a better fit. Measure a working sample or send us the frame profile and existing edge dimensions before changing the specification.

The 50 m roll is useful for a smaller production run or keeping a particular width available for replacement graphics. The 200 m roll provides a longer supply for repeat production. Both lengths are sold as complete rolls, so compare the roll length as well as the displayed roll price. The price is for the edging material; a printed fabric panel, sewing and a display frame are separate items.

Preparing a graphic

Check the frame channel, finished graphic size and edge-strip allowance before cutting the fabric. Keep the same strip specification around a panel and confirm the sewing method with the person producing the graphic. If the frame model is uncertain, a photograph of the profile with the dimensions of an existing fitted strip helps us check the proposed replacement. Stock and the dispatch date are confirmed when the order is agreed; the stock display is not a promise of arrival at your event.
