  • Description

A FLEX SEG lightbox is a free-standing, double-sided illuminated frame with a printed stretch-fabric face. The LEDs sit behind the graphic rather than in front of it, so there is no hotspot, no reflection and no glare from the hall lighting — the print itself is what glows. It is built for exhibitions, conferences and events, where it has to go up fast and look permanent.

    100×200 or 100×240 cm?

Both sizes are portrait and floor-standing, and both are 100 cm wide, so they line up with each other. 100×200 cm is the standard entrance, aisle and stand-corner format, read by people walking past at close range. 100×240 cm is the taller unit and is worth the extra height in a crowded hall, where a two metre panel disappears behind heads and a 240 cm one still reads from the far side of the room. Check the stand build height rules before committing to the taller version, and if you plan to build walls from several modules, standardise on one height — mixed heights in a run look like a mistake rather than a design.

    Set-up and joining modules

The hinge-based frame unfolds with a single hand movement and needs no tools, and the aluminium structure carries built-in magnets so several modules connect into a larger seamless wall. That is what makes it a system rather than a single sign: the same units serve as one lit panel at a small event and as a full illuminated backdrop at a big one. The set includes a polyester transport bag, so the whole thing travels and stores as one piece of luggage and arrives without the frame marking the fabric.

    Graphics and artwork

The face is an SEG textile graphic held by a silicone strip pushed into the frame channel, which is what gives the perfectly tensioned surface on both sides. Because the skin is replaceable, a new campaign means a new fabric and the same frame — the reason this format costs less over three years than its price suggests. Supply artwork at a minimum of 150 dpi, in CMYK, at 1:1 scale, with fonts converted into curves, as tiff, jpg or pdf. Design for backlighting: dense colour holds up, pale tints wash out, and the two faces are separate prints, so plan whether they carry the same message or different ones.

    Common questions

    How does it set up?

The hinged construction unfolds with one hand — no tools and no assembly sequence. That is the practical difference between FLEX and a conventional SEG frame.

Why is a backlit fabric face better than a lit poster?

The light sits behind the graphic rather than on it, so there is no hotspot and no reflection off the surface. In a hall lit from above, that is what makes the graphic readable.

    100x200 or 100x240 cm?

Both are portrait free-standing sizes. 240 cm gives more height above head level, which matters when the audience is standing and the lower half of the graphic is blocked by people.
