A blade sign projects from the wall at ninety degrees, so it is read along the street rather than only by people already standing in front of the door. That one geometric fact makes it the most effective small sign there is.
Round 50 cm reads as traditional and suits hospitality and retail — a café, a pharmacy, a salon. Square 60 cm gives more printable area and suits a logo with a horizontal lock-up, or a name that will not sit comfortably inside a circle. Decide by the shape of the mark, then check it at size: a logo drawn for a letterhead often loses its detail when it is read from across a street, and simplifying it for the blade sign is normal rather than a compromise.
The frame is powder-coated aluminium — light, which matters on a bracket, and corrosion resistant, which matters on a facade. The face is plexiglass and the lighting is built-in LED, so the sign still works after dark without a separate floodlight and without a visible light source. It mounts on a bracket perpendicular to the facade and is built for wind, rain and UV.
Print both faces. A double-sided sign with one printed side is half a sign, and everyone approaching from the other direction sees a blank. Then check the wall and the pavement: the bracket needs a solid fixing, not render over cavity, and the sign needs clearance above the footway. In many town centres a projecting sign on a street facade also needs consent from the local authority, so ask before the artwork is signed off. Supply artwork at 1:1 scale, minimum 150 dpi, CMYK, as tiff, jpg or pdf, with fonts converted into curves.

It is mounted perpendicular to the wall, so it is read along the street by people who have not yet reached the door. A flat sign is only read by people already standing in front of it.
Round reads as a traditional shop sign and softens a busy frontage. Square gives more usable area for a logo with text under it. Both are double-sided.
No — this is the printed double-sided version. For an illuminated projecting sign, the lightbox systems are the place to look.
